Our Story
Tyrone is a dynamic solo performer driven by a passion to entertain, create unforgettable moments, and ultimately become one of Australia’s greatest solo musicians.
His love for music began early, inspired by his father - a prodigy of his time and a well-known name among musical enthusiasts across the country. Growing up surrounded by the sounds of Eagles, Michael Jackson, Dr Hook and The Angels, Tyrone developed a deep appreciation for music across multiple eras and genres. This early influence helped shape what has become one of the most diverse and extensive repertoires audiences experience in a live performance.
Tyrone’s musical journey truly began at the age of 20 when he first stepped on stage at the Cairns Music Festival. In that moment, the spark was lit - he realised the stage was where he belonged. Soon after, he returned to Brisbane to study performing arts at the Aboriginal Centre for Performing Arts (ACPA), where his love for performing expanded into theatre. Although his acting path was short-lived, it ultimately confirmed that music was his true calling.
His career as a solo artist began in a small bar in West End, Brisbane. A last-minute opportunity to fill in on a Friday night at Archive Beer Boutique turned into a defining moment. Performing to a packed house of singing, dancing patrons chanting “one more song”, Tyrone knew he had found his path - the beginning of what would become a 15-year performing career.
Drawing inspiration from Ed Sheeran’s flawless looping, Craig David’s vocal range, Michael Jackson’s iconic stage presence and Stevie Wonder’s funk-driven soul, Tyrone has developed a live performance style rarely seen on Australian stages. Often described as a “one-man band”, his ability to build layered live sound while commanding a crowd allows him to captivate audiences ranging from intimate venues to thousands of people.
With a powerful stage presence, extensive repertoire and the ability to make any song uniquely his own, Tyrone continues to deliver unforgettable live performances - while working toward his ultimate goal of establishing himself as Australia’s leading solo musician and building a lasting career through original music.
Career Highlights
Over the years, Tyrone has performed at major corporate events, music festivals, sporting events, grand openings and national conferences. His versatility has seen him entertain everywhere from celebrity weddings and milestone celebrations to large-scale corporate balls for companies including Flight Centre, Singapore Airlines, Virgin Australia, Rio Tinto and Santos.
Career highlights include performing at the Commonwealth Games Baton Relay Event, as well as supporting acts such as Birds of Tokyo, Bliss n Eso, 360, The Cat Empire, The Dreggs, Pacific Avenue, Jon Stevens and Busby Marou.
